[This seems a three pronged attack on the Economy by the Republicans. Prevent the President from succeeding economically, diplomatically and energy wise. Opposing Jobs measures other than their own which have been used to compromise Progressive successes(i.e what might work better), war monger[*] on Iran and other efforts in the Mid-East, dove-tail (Ironic Albatross/pun) into higher gas prices to ensure regime change at home. Politically, do we want to return to where we were going 4 years ago? That is what a change of course would bring. Where is the pun you might ask? C-gull able. Hmmm, I just may have struck gold in this here heading.]

Actually I was originally making a comment about the economic picture, but it takes quite a crack at Beck and his fluid mind and wee wee'd up journalism*. There is much irony in the way the truth is filtered here through so-called extremist thinking. If we can keep guns out of the hands of the mentally challenged, shouldn't the media be a target? I think that given the language which has lived over the years maybe we can interpret the constitution differently and the same as some of our counter(revolutionary)advocates or is all media the press?

Lessons of War

As noted before(I will have to find where)economics may be more a factor in history and war than winning. (Well, I never put it that way exactly.) There are those that ignore the importance of economics in reality(as in all the various fields or disciplines of study), but do tend to focus on just a winning economy. That may be a little closer to the point, and if not even less understood.

Here are two examples: a.) We are now doing business with Vietnam. Versus not with North Korea. b.) Reagan's words tore down the Berlin Wall, or Afghanistan broke the Soviet Union.

Again it may not be clear to those that see winning a military war as the only way to win. Money is power, but not everybody wins.

War is hard work. Peace is hard work. Facing realities is hard work.
Enough from me, before I give you more hard work.

By the way. "You break it, you bought it." comes to mind. Besides that fact that pottery bard[*] does not have that policy, I don't know if a point has been made that it is misquoted as "You break it, you own it".
